Ever get called out to open a vending machine and have your pick totally fail you with picking needles that drag? Picking tubular locks can be a difficult endeavor--don't believe otherwise. But these seven and eight pin picks from Majestic are the best manipulation type picks we've found. Tubular manipulation picks must be broken in so that the picking needles move freely--otherwise, the lock will not open. That task is accomplished far easier with the TP-1 and TP-2 than any others. We highly recommend these picks for their ease of use and value.

Opening a Greenwald lock is darn near impossible with standard manipulation picks--the spring pressures of the lock are just too strong. That's why this pick was developed. It allows individual adjustment of the picking needles, and also permits the user to pick the lock either by manipulation or one pin at a time.

Ok guys, this is the best of the best. Yeh, tubulars can be tough to pick ... and tough to learn to pick. A very big part of the reason is that with conventional manipulation picks, you must push into the lock, closing the shear-line, making locating the pins difficult. With the Pickmasters pick you clamp onto the nose of the tubular lock and then pull back slightly to open the shear-line as wide as possible. With the shear-line open it is much easier to locate the abutting faces of the pins inside the lock, to within the shear-line area. This pick takes the guesswork out of picking! Yes, it's expensive--and it's worth it! And interchangeable heads are available for other lock configurations.
